05 Nov 2024: Update November 2024: the second batch of components have been shipped. The batch includes 36 total sections of the prototype, including the generator, mooring system, and ventilation system. The shipment was split between five ships which departed from CIMC Pacific Offshore Enginnering and are heading to Zhangjiagang before transferring to a long-distance vessel to France, The estimated time for transport is 35 days. The first components of the turbine developed by Brest-based Eolink as part of the "France Atlantique" project arrived in the port of Brest on 20 February. Eolink will assemble the steel float and superstructure of its wind turbine on the Renewable Marine Energies polder managed by BrestPort.
