01 Oct 2024: Update August 2024: The first blades for the pilot wind farms Eolmed and Les Eoliennes Flottantes du Golfe Du Lion, manufactured by Vestas, have arrived at the Port-la Nouvelle. Euroports has started unloading these blades at a terminal specifically for floating wind turbines. this marks a milestone in France as these are the largest wind turbines being installed, beginning the first port operations for 10 MW turbines. Another shipment, carrying blades and turbines, is expected by the end of the summer.
